History: The mill was constructed in 1948 by Rudy Kalbac to generate 32 volts of electricity for the farm. Power was provided by a horizontal C.P. Bradway turbine with a vertical shaft manufactured in Stafford, CT.
Site Characteristics: A short spillway and head race directed water to a horizontal turbine wheel with a vertical shaft located under a small mill building located just below the dam of a 3.5 acre pond.
